"Pragnienie Wody"  to cykl fotografii dokumentalnej przedstawiający byłych zawodników uprawiających w przeszłości sporty wodne. To opowieść o pasji, determinacji i nostalgii za minionymi chwilami sławy. Sportowcy po zakończeniu kariery często zostają zepchnięci na margines życia sportowego. Mimo to nie poddają się i stawiają czoła przeciwnościom. Fotografie ukazują zarówno ich portrety, jak i środowisko, w którym trenują i spędzają czas. Poprzez tę serię chciałem oddać surowe piękno sportu oraz pokazać, jak wpływa on na życie ludzi po zakończeniu zawodowej kariery. Zdjęcia zostały wykonane na przestrzeni ostatnich trzech lat. Projekt rozpoczął się w Krakowie, na przystani nad Wisłą i stopniowo objął inne miasta i kraje.

"Pragnienie Wody" is a series of documentary photographs depicting former athletes who previously engaged in water sports, especially kayaking. It is a story of passion, determination, and nostalgia for past moments of glory. The photographs showcase both their portraits and the spaces where they train and spend time. The images capture the unique character of the heroes and their strong connections with water and nature. This documentation celebrates their achievements and shows how sports have shaped their lives and personalities. The photographs bring viewers into the intimate world of former kayakers. I wanted viewers to appreciate the beauty and challenges of the sport through this series and see how sports influence people's lives even after their careers have ended. The title is difficult to translate from Polish to English. The word "pragnienie" can mean either desire or thirst, depending on the context.
